- Servant of God Barbora of Žagarė (c. 1628 – c. 1648) Lithuanian laywoman and consecrated virgin from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, According to oral history, Barbora distinguished herself by her Christian virtues and died young under obscure circumstances. Her remains were said to be incorruptible. This inspired a strong following among local people, and numerous miracles are attributed to her, She is venerated by the Catholic Church and was declared Servant of God by Saint John Paul II, her feast day is celebrated every year on 4 December.
