Archdiocese of La Plata in Argentina — The Archdiocese of La Plata is a Latin Church diocese in Argentina. It was erected on 15 February 1897, as the Diocese of La Plata and is the metropolitan see and its suffragan sees are Azul, Chascomús, and Mar del Plata. It was elevated on 20 April 1934.
