Catholicism Wiki:Editorial standard

Catholicism Wiki presents settled Catholic teaching affirmatively and is not religiously neutral. It distinguishes dogma, definitive doctrine, authoritative non-definitive teaching, discipline, theological synthesis, approved devotion, and historical judgment.

The editorial position is faithful, conservative, and obedient to the pope and bishops in communion with him. It is neither sedevacantist nor aligned with positions that reject the Church's lawful authority. Doctrines condemned as heresy are identified as such in an encyclopedic tone. Movements whose doctrine is not Christian in the Catholic sense, including Jehovah's Witnesses and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are identified plainly.

Saints are real members of the Church Triumphant. Miracles and approved supernatural realities are not reduced to statements that believers merely “say” or “feel”; particular historical incidents remain subject to the evidence and the Church's judgment.
