Catholicism Wiki:Reference collections

Catholicism Wiki maintains two large attributed source collections alongside its fully authored articles. Current Catholicism Wiki text remains primary; imported source material is governed by the encyclopedia's Catholic editorial standard and visible provenance notices.

Wikipedia Catholic corpus

The English Wikipedia corpus contains 92,389 attributed articles gathered from the Catholic Church super-category and dedicated exhaustive roots for religious orders, blesseds, venerables, and saints, together with Catholic roles and ranks, Church organization, particular Churches, communion and ecclesiology, catechisms and doctrine, rites, and sacraments. Source page IDs, revision IDs, timestamps, category paths, and CC BY-SA attribution records are preserved.

These pages are materialized in the ordinary article namespace. Common neutral-point-of-view theological qualifiers are normalized to direct Catholic assertion, and every page carries its exact source revision and linked contributor history.

For a Catholic topic, non-hostile Wikipedia coverage is a required minimum wherever it is legally reusable, but it is not presumed sufficient. Catholicism Wiki adds Catholic primary sources, magisterial and liturgical context, Catholic scholarship, ecclesial status, and subjects or details below Wikipedia's notability threshold. Imported prose is the factual floor, not the editorial ceiling.

Catholic Encyclopedia (1913)

All 11,611 historical entries are reproduced in the ordinary article namespace. On a title collision, each full text is appended beneath its dated source heading and remains subordinate to present teaching, current canon law, liturgical books, terminology, and later scholarship. Where no current article exists, the historical text establishes an ordinary article open to expansion.
