Catholic Encyclopedia (1913)

All 11,611 historical entries are reproduced with page-level revision attribution in ordinary topic articles under dated “From the Catholic Encyclopedia” sections. This source may establish an article where appropriate, but it is never exclusive: current teaching, present law, liturgical books, better scholarship, and additional sources govern.

Wikipedia Catholic Church corpus

The corpus contains 92,389 Catholic topics discovered beneath Wikipedia's Catholic Church super-category and dedicated complete category graphs for orders, blesseds, venerables, and saints, excluding criticism, scandal, abuse, and anti-Catholic branches. Source URLs, revisions, contributor-history links, and category paths are retained for CC BY-SA attribution and provenance.

Non-hostile Wikipedia content is the necessary minimum for covered Catholic topics, not a sufficient finished article. Current Catholic primary sources, magisterial and liturgical context, Catholic scholarship, ecclesial status, and below-notability local material are added above the attributed fork.

Roman Catholicism Wiki at Fandom

Accessible pages were staged with revision and contributor attribution under CC BY-SA. Only accurate and nonredundant material is eligible for publication. Staging a page does not approve it.

Primary authorities

The Catechism, ecumenical councils, canon law, papal documents, approved liturgical books, dicastery texts, and official episcopal resources govern doctrine and discipline. Modern copyrighted texts are cited and summarized rather than automatically copied in full.

Calendar

Daily precedence and movable observances use the universal General Roman Calendar. Roman Martyrology data supplies dated saints when needed.
